Your telegram of 7th May no truth in
report which it seems probable emanated from Manila
where the prese gave an account of Bune's execution. Bune went to Manila on the 4th August on shipping business. He returned to Hong Kong October 23rd and
was made prisoner of war as he admitted that he was liable for military service if in Germany. He is confined with other prisoners of war and is trated treated as an officer. He is in good health and of excellent behaviour. He has not been punished in any
way.
MAY.
